Michael’s Senior Portraits 2022

Crazy to think I am already taking this young man’s senior portraits. I meet Michael and his family back in 2018. Although we never got into too many deep conversations, I could always tell that he was going to do so many great things.

We got the perfect day to take portraits in Houston. If you know what I mean you know how humid it can get. As we walked around Lonestar Community College in Tomball, I got a chance to really hear all he has been up to the last few years.

To my surprise, he began talking about his dreams and how creative he gets to be with the work he wants to do. I thought, CREATIVE! Michael wants to be creative! Now I can talk shop with the best of them, but one thing I love more than anything is talking about creative things.

Brainstorming, storytelling, and visuals. His desire to creative narratives for video games got my mind racing! I could see his love and passion for creative writing. He opened up immediately. I could see his desire to see it translated visually. I felt cool just talking to him about a world not too far off from mine.

It had me sit back and think how amazing it is when you get to talk to others about their life and especially about their dreams. I know he has many years ahead of him to discover who he is and what he is going to do. BUT! I do know this. Whatever he does, he will do it with excellence and determination. He has already begun doing this by earning scholarships for his writing.

Overall, Michael’s senior portraits didn’t disappoint and from one creative to another. Never stop. Just keep doing your art. Because not doing you art is worse.

CONGRATS MICHAEL!
